Records

The Records Unit includes one part-time and five full-time Administrative Clerks, one Police Services Technician, and two Police Services Assistant. They are supervised by a Police Sergeant and are available to assist you with:

• Towed Vehicles
• Traffic Accident Reports
• Crime Reports
• Clearance Letters
• Verification Letters
• Permits
• Master Fee Schedule

Records personnel may also assist the public with any inquiries relating to police services, resources, or assistance. Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. excluding holidays and weekends Records can be reached at (510) 215-3130.

To make a police report or request immediate police assistance calls should be made to (510) 233-1214, and any report of a life threatening emergencies should be directed to "911".
